Red Rooster Oporto Convention

VISION
After separate conferences for Oporto and Red Rooster, Quick Services Restaurant Holdings (QSRH) wanted a concurrent convention for both brands as this would be of more value to suppliers and enable the convention to place more funds into speakers, workshops and activities due to economy of scale.
STRATEGY + EXECUTION
QSRH decided that they wished to outsource the majority of the organisation to Tom Thumb Events. Each brand would be represented by various internal members and a organising committee formed to develop itinerary, speakers, workshops and plenary sessions. Tom Thumb Events would be in charge of executing the committee's requirements as well as organising registration, accommodation, budget control, AV, theming, logistics, activities and providing first point of contact for sponsors, venue and suppliers.
Running two separate companies that had individual demands as well as areas that overlapped in a 2.5 day time frame was a complex task. With 370 attendees there were 3 casual dinners, 2 awards dinners, 3 plenary sessions, 7 activities, 3 VIP drinks, 8 workshops and a trade show. Our sister company Tom Thumb supplied overall branding and creative theming that was executed into all signage, speaker presentations, animations and awards graphics and pre and post event collateral.
RESULT
